The Master Programme in Marine Sciences is multidisciplinary allowing diverse interest profiles (including field work, lab work and data analysis). The curricular units are optional, however, students are advised to do at least one in each area: Life Sciences (CVIDA), Earth Sciences (CTerra), Chemistry (CTQ). Students may also choose curricular units from the Master in Marine Ecology, Geology and Physics, according with their desired profile, they also have the option of choosing curricular units from another scientific area  (see options).  In each semester students have to achieve a total of 30 ECTS, meaning 5 curricular units of 6ECTS.
